1. Information We Collect
We collect information to provide and improve the Quickinvoicely platform. The types of information we gather include:
- Account details such as your name, email address, and business information provided during registration
- Invoice data including client names, addresses, line items, and payment amounts you enter into the platform
- Usage information such as pages visited, features used, and interactions within the application
- Device and browser information including IP address, browser type, operating system, and referring URLs
- Communication data from support requests, feedback forms, and other correspondence with our team
2. How We Use Your Information
Your information is used to deliver, maintain, and enhance the Quickinvoicely experience. Specifically, we use your data to:
- Provide core invoicing functionality including invoice creation, delivery, and payment tracking
- Process payments and manage subscription billing for your account
- Send transactional notifications such as payment confirmations, invoice reminders, and account alerts
- Improve and personalize the platform through analytics and usage pattern analysis
- Ensure platform security by detecting fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access attempts
3. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored on secure, encrypted servers with industry-standard protections. We implement technical and organizational measures to safeguard your information, including encryption at rest and in transit, regular security audits, and strict access controls.
While we strive to protect your personal information, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but are committed to following best practices to protect your data.
4. Payment Information
Quickinvoicely uses Authorize.Net Accept.js for payment processing. With this approach, sensitive payment card details are tokenized directly in the browser before reaching our servers. This means your full credit card number is never stored or transmitted through our infrastructure.
We only receive and store a secure payment token and the last four digits of the card for reference purposes. All payment processing is handled in compliance with PCI DSS standards to ensure the highest level of payment security.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We only share your data in the following limited circumstances:
- With trusted third-party service providers who assist in operating the platform, such as payment processors and hosting providers, under strict confidentiality agreements
- When required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, and safety of Quickinvoicely, our users, or the public
6. Client Portal & Magic Links
Quickinvoicely provides a client portal where your clients can view and pay invoices. Access to the portal is granted through secure, time-limited magic links sent via email. These links are unique to each client and expire after a set period for added security.
No passwords are required for client portal access. Each magic link is single-use and tied to a specific session. We recommend that your clients do not share their magic links with others.
7. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. If you choose to close your account, we will retain your data for a period of 90 days after account closure to allow for account recovery or to fulfill any legal obligations.
After the 90-day retention period, your personal data and associated invoicing records will be permanently deleted from our systems. Anonymized, aggregated data may be retained indefinitely for analytics and service improvement purposes.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal data. These rights include:
- The right to access and receive a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- The right to request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data
- The right to request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal retention requirements
